VIET NAM CENTRAL CATHOLIC PILGRIMAGE 06 DAYS 05 NIGHTS

DAY 1 DA NANG AIRPORT -  DA NANG CITY (lunch, dinner, stay in Da Nang city’s hotel)

Morning: Your group go to the  airport to check flight to Da Nang

Noon: Arrive Da Nang . We check in hotel.

We enjoy a lunch with local foods. Take a rest at hotel.

02:00 pm We visit Marble mountain with stone village…

Then, our group visit: The Da Nang Cathedral, known to the locals as “Nha Tho Con Ga” (Rooster Cathedral) because of its copper rooster weathervane, is located at 156 Tran Phu Street.   Priest Louis Vallet had the idea to build the church and he led the construction work which began in the Rue du Musée Street (now called Tran Phu Street) in February 1923.  The church officially opened its doors on 10 March 1924 with the purpose of serving the French Catholics who lived in Da Nang at that time.  According to an explanation from the priest, the rooster on the roof of the church is not in fact the symbol of France, but is a symbol associated with St Peter's story in the Gospel about repentance and awakening.  This church was the only one built in the city during the French Colonial period.

DAY 02 HOI AN ANCIENT CITY –TRA KIEU MARIA MOTHER(Breakfast, lunch, dinner, stay in Hoi An City’s hotel)

Morning:08:00 am, After breakfast we check out hotel to depart to Tra Kieu district to visit Maria Mother Tra Kieu “Tra Kieu, located in Duy Son Commune, Duy Xuyen District, Quang Nam Province, is located about 7km west of National Highway No. 1, along with Huong Lo No.7, leading to many Cham sites in My Son. An Hoa, Coal Mine in Nong Son and 25 km southwest of Da Nang. In Tra Kieu, it is privileged to have a historic temple of glory, to remember the victory that Our Lady gave to the faithful wherever they were in the war of self-defense against the Can Vuong Movement in 1885.”

According to historical records, in 1983, after the death of Emperor Tu Duc, Nguyen Van Tuong abused power, disrupted the Imperial Court and covertly promoted the Can Vuong Movement, using weapons and state treasuries. To thoroughly implement the Western plan, closely follow, to expel the French and kill Catholics. Of course, Tra Kieu became an important target and was attacked by Van Than soldiers on September 1, 1985, when Co Nhon (priest Bruyère of the Paris Missionary Society) and lay people were unprepared. By conspiracy, conscientious and courageous, they countered with the mighty Van Than. After more than seven days of fighting, watching the situation is not as good as expected, Van Than added cannons for the war. However, throughout the day, the cannons did not damage the people, the church was also shot once but by light bombs. As told, a skilled martial arts officer who controlled and shot a huge cannon about 100 yards from the church, admitted that he deliberately targeted a beautiful woman, dressed in white over the roof of the church but could not. Co Nhon and the parishioners thought that the miracle of Mary was done.  Afterwards, the enemy saw the infantry in white robes flying from the air, down through the green bamboo, with shining silver mirror in hand, help the parishioners, then they gradually diminished, and did not want to attack anymore. On September 21, 1885, after 20 days of siege, our troops decided to counterattack and won. Tra Kieu is released from that time.

Tra Kieu has been selected as the Da Nang Diocesan Center, selected May 31st, the closing day of May each year to organize the Great Mother Conferences with the participation of all the children of Mother throughout Vietnam.

Tra Kieu would like to honor Mother forever.

Afternoon we have time to visit Hoi An city with many ancient houses and things still preserved here.

05:00 pm join a Mass in Tra Kieu church.

Everning:  We have a dinner and free to walk around this Hoi An ancient city.

DAY 03 HUE ANCIENT CAPITAL – LA VANG SANCTUARY (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Morning:08:00 am After breakfast, we’re going to Hue

We stop on the way to take photos in Hai Van runner

 to visit Thien An monastery.

A big monastery in this city.

We keep moving to Quang Tri province to visit and pray, join a mass at La Vang Sanctuary.

La Vang or Lavang is a locale in  Quảng Trị Province,  Vietnam. It is the site of the  Minor Basilica of  Our Lady of La Vang (Đức Mẹ La Vang), a  Roman Catholic sanctuary, commemorating a vision of the  Blessed Virgin Mary that was seen there in 1798. The site has been rebuilt on several occasions and is an important site of  pilgrimage for Catholics in Vietnam, as well as for the Catholic  Overseas Vietnamese community. Many Vietnamese Catholic parishes throughout the world are named  for Our Lady of  La Vang.

03: pm, We check in Lam Bich Guest house in La Vang.

06:30 pm: We have a dinner at here.

07:30: We have a Mass in La Vang church. And then we have free time by night.

DAY 04 CAT MINH ABBEY - HUE IMPERIAL CITADEL -LANG CO BEACH – HAI VAN PASS- DA NANG CITY (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER, STAY IN DA NANG CITY

Morning: 08:00 am, Our group visit Cat Minh monastery that located in Hue City.

Next to visit: Hue Imperial Citadel. Is a walled palace within the  citadel of the city of  Huế, the former imperial capital of  Vietnam.

After that: We stop and visit Lang Co beach, can take seabath here.

We enjoy lunch at the restaurant nearby beach.

Next move up to Hai Van Pass to look view and ocean,cloudy…

04:00 pm, we arrive Da Nang city check in hotel, stay here.

We visit and pray at Sao Bien Maria Mother.

06:00 pm. We join a mass in church.

07:30  Enjoy a dinner.

DAY 05 BA NA HILL  (Breakfast, lunch, dinner, stay in Da Nang)

Morning: 08:00 am

Afternoon: We  go to visit Ba Na hill by caple car.

17h00:  We’re going to  the hotel.

19h00: We have a dinner at the restaurant

20h00: Bus transfer us to Han River to take photo by Han Birge by night. Then we have free time.

DAY 06 (DA NANG – KUALA LUMPUR (Breakfast, lunch)

Morning: We have breakfast and free time for shopping. (Da Nang Market) Check out hotel,

10:00 am Bus will transfer us to Da Nang airport. To take flight depart at noon to your country/city...
